As much as I LOVE taking portraits of other families, and children, I LOVE shooting just to shoot. And shooting the out of the ordinary things, the little captures that you look back on and remember something funny or cute about that particular moment. I also LOVE being stretched beyond my limits, and made to think out of the box, so when I saw that MCP Actions was hosting Project 52, I knew it was for me!
A few years ago I had tried a Project 365 (a creative photo, once a day for a year), and miserably failed. I just didn’t have the time! But I think Project 52 is perfect! So once a week for a year, I’ll be posting a photo (most likely of my boys, LOL). Something either that goes along with the themes MCP is offering for that week, or even just something I came up with on my own. Kind of whatever happens there! I’m excited for it.
So without further adieu..
1/52–“Rainboots maybe?”
Last week, it rained really well, and the boys had a BLAST playing in the mud. I got some other super cute shots of them, but I just love this one because they’re both in it, and they are being messy boys! I think they are definitely in need of rainboots. 🙂 But little feet are oh so cute to capture too! 🙂
