insta-photog friday week 3– the great outdoors! {Erin Phillips Photography, Slidell LA photographer}

I reaaaallly enjoyed this week’s insta-photog friday! The theme was “the great outdoors” which mostly consisted of kiddos playing outside, sunsets, and all the things God made beautiful. Loved it.

Sadly I only got one shot in for this week, where did the time go?

My boy practicing his swing at the batting cages before his game. 🙂

Believe me when I say {again} that this week was TOUGH to choose! There were so many good entries! Thank you all for submitting your images, I so look forward to seeing them 🙂

Let’s get this party started!

I LOVE the moodiness in this one my lynaseimens! What kind of building is this? And why is the flag at half staff? Hopefully she can fill me in. So awesome!

When my friend Jackie uploaded hers she had to know I was going to feature it! A beautiful Ayden orange sunset taken with one of her photojojo lenses! Gorgeousness.

darrenisreal showed off some mad jumping skills in this one. I love love love it! along with the cool.

jamiekphotos  submitted this awesome image of a turn in the road..we all have those turns & bumps don’t we? Love the mood in this too.

and lastly, lisaakiyaharianna–those clouds are AWESOME! I’ve never seen anything like it. What a masterpiece 🙂

Did you miss last week’s insta-photog friday? Want to play too but don’t know the rules?
{Here’s how insta-photog friday works: Insta-photog friday is for ANYONE on instagram who wants to just play along! Each friday I’ll  do the feature from the previous week and then give a theme for the type of photo to post (whether it be a rule in photography, a certain color to photograph, anything!) and all of you fellow instagrammers get the whole week to come up with a photo that relates! Make it creative & fun! Expand your knowledge of the way you look at things, but still just keep it simple! Then when you upload your instagram photo tag me @erinphillipsphotography and hashtag the photo like this:  #instaphotogfriday. All entries must be submitted by 9pm Thursday night of each week. I will pick the top 5 photos and feature them here on my blog! If you don’t want your photo reposted on my blog, please don’t enter.. this is all for fun!}

Ready for this week’s assignment?

straight lines, curvy lines, lines leading to something in particular or lines that end abruptly. lines on a face or lines in the air! You choose. Make it yours. Stay creative. 🙂

  • Lyna - Hi Erin! I’m so honored to have my picture chosen!! Thank you! And I don’t honestly know why the flag was at half staff. I was waiting for my husband to come out from his Dr.s appointment and I was just seeing this gorgeous building with the beautiful rain clouds hovering over and KNEW I had to take a picture! I was so happy with how it turned out:)ReplyCancel
